Susan Cappa is an example of a true leader. Leadership is practiced not so much in words, but by attitude and actions. Susan leads by example with absolute professionalism and outstanding customer service. She showers her employees with praise when a good job is done. Leadership is an action, not a position and her actions reflect such. Susan rarely takes a lunch because the needs of her employees and West End Bank customers come first. She is selfless in her work ethics and she is the first one to jump on the Teller line when the staff is shorthanded. She somehow manages to juggle all her many responsibilities with poise and she is always there to listen with an open door. Susan celebrates her employee’s successes and encourages them to grow and be their best.
